illegitimate daughter of John I, King of Portugal, but probably legitimated [Ref: CP I p246]

erroneously stated in Visitation of Berks and elsewhere, to have married Gilbert, 5th Lord Talbot, which lord did marry another Portuguese lady, also named Beatrice [Ref: CP I p246(e)]

1413: at feast of St George, she was one of the thirteen ladies for whom robes of the Order of the Garter were provided [Ref: CP I p246]

robes of the Garter appears to have been an actual dignity conferred, as in several cases, the ladies so decorated were neither the wives nor widows of Knights of the Order [Ref: CP I p246(b)]

1421: naturalized, since her right to dower was being disputed [Ref: CP I p246]
