1106: rebelled and lost his lands; they were granted to Randulph, chancellor of Henry I [Ref: Sanders Baronies p14]

1106: defeated at Tinchebrai, and his honours were forfeit; county of Cornwall was given in 1140 by King Stephen to Alan lord of Richmond [Ref: Sanders Baronies p60]

1106: lands were confiscated after the battle of Tinchebrai; Pevensey was granted to Gilbert de l'Aigle [Ref: Sanders Baronies p136]

he and Robert Curthose were both captured and subjected to long imprisonment following the battle of Tinchebrai [Ref: Keats-Rohan DD p234]

a charter of Bishop Hildebran of Le Mans indicates that he had fought a war with Walter of Mayenne, a Manceau seigneur to whom he was related, and that he was prepared to marry Walter's daughter so that peace might be obtained. The marriage was within the prohibited degrees and does not appear to have taken place [Ref: Keats-Rohan DD p234]
