In the name of God Amen I Henry Harsh of West Bethlemen township,
Washington County, Penna, being old and weak in body but of sound memory and
mind thanks be to the Lord for it but knowing it is appoitned for all men once
to die and after that the Judgement do make and ordain this to be my last Will
andTestamentin manner following (viz)
1st I give my Soul to God who gave it and my bbody to the dust from whence
it came to be buried in a decent manner at the discretion of my friends
nothing doubting their fidelity, and as to the good things of this present
life that God hath bestowed on me I give in the following manner
2nd I give to Eli Harsh $50 with the note he has against me
3rd TO Molly Harsh $40. after her husbands death if she die before her
husband he is to have nothing but the bond I have against him
4th Catrone Harsh which is deceased I give $40 to her 3 children
5th to Mareyan Harsh $40
(These four must wait til the last for their legacies)
6thly Henery harsh Junr and Lewes Harsh and Jacob Harsh and Leonard Harsh
and these last four mentioned sons shall have eaqual shares in all that is
left after the first 4 above mentioned is paid, in this my last Will and
Testament and these last 4 mentioned sons is not to make any vendue but to
divide all the property eaqual with each other at the time or times directed
by my Executors and I ordain and appoint my well beloved friends Henery Harsh
Junr and Philip harsh to be Executors to this my last Will and Testament to
see that all things are executed according to my Will.
In testimony I have set my hand and seal this 4th day of February 1812.
