The History of Carroll County says that George Simon, wife, and 6 children moved to 2 1/2 miles NW of Massillon in 1813. Known family includes 8 children. Possibly John had been sent from Washington Co, PA in 1812 to purchase land and was already in Ohio, and Elizabeth (not mentioned in Will) was already deceased. [Ref: HarshRC HARSH p63]
