The Feet of Fines for Yorkshire dated Quindene of Easter, 50 Edw. III, 1376 state:
Thomas de Lathum, chivaler, and Joan his wife, quer., Robert Breton, vicar of the church of Hyton, and Thomas de la Rydynge, chaplain, def., of 4 messuages, 5 tofts, 6 1/2 carucates of land, and 4 acres of meadow in Easthaitfeld: To hold to Thomas de Lathum and Joan and the heirs male of their bodies; remainder to Thomas son of the same Thomas de Lathum and the heirs male of his body; remainder to Isabel daughter of Thomas de Lathum and Joan and the heirs male of her body; remainder to Cicely, sister of Isabel, and the heirs male of her body; remainder to the right heirs of Thomas de Lathum.
To pin the date down, Easter in 1376 fell on Sunday, 13 April. Quindene means the 15th day after any feast which includes the feast day, thus 27 April 1376. [Ref: Ronny Bodine SGM 1/24/1999]
