5 Apr 1474: named in a Crown charter granting to Walter Ker, son and heir-apparent of Andrew Ker of Cessford, the lands of Cessford, Huntleisland, Cavertoun, Altonburn, Primside, Smailholm, and others, to be held to Walter and his heirs, and successively to his brothers Thomas, William, and Ralph.
