1032-1064: Seneschal (Dapifer) of Dol [Ref: Washington Stuarts p25]

Moriarty hypothesized that Flaald was son of Hamon, Lord of Dinan, but there is little support other than Flaald appearing in the same document with Hamon's sons, which shouldn't surprise anyone since, related or not, Flaald would have been one of their foremost vassals [Ref: Todd Farmerie SGM 2/9/1999]
