This Indenture made this 13th day of September 1864 between Montgomery Walker and Jane his wife of Brook County State of West Virginia of the first part and Elija Moor of West Liberty County of Ohio and State aforesaid of the second part, Witnesseth that the said Montgomery Walker and Jane his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Three thousand Dollars ($3000) to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold released and confirmed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, release and confirm to the said Elija Moor a certain tract or parcel of land with all the appurtenances thereto belonging situate and being in the township of Liberty Ohio Co West Virginia and bounded as follows, beginning at a stone in the center of the Wheeling West Liberty and Bettany Turnpike corner to M. M. Dunlap thence S 40 W 81 poles 2 links to a stone in the center of said Road corner to Samuel Beck thence N 60 W 42 poles to a stake in R. M.Bonars line, thence with said line N 15 E 35 poles 15 links to a stone corner to said Bonar thence N 89 E 29 poles 9 links to a stone, thence S 14 W 18 poles to a post thence S 58 1/2 E 25 poles to the place of beginning, containing 10 acres 23 perches be the same more or less, To have and to hold the above described tract or parcel of land to his the said Elija Moor his heirs and assigns forever, And the said party of the first part hereby covenant and agree to warrant the title to the above described tract or parcel of land against the lawful claims of all persons whatsoever. This Deed made this 14th day of December in the year of our Lord one thouand eight hundred and seventy between Elijah Moore and Mary Ann Moore his wife of the first part and William Moore of the second part, all of Liberty Township and County of Ohio and State of West Virginia.
