three children, two of whom died in infancy. a third child, John Lewis TODD, was born two months after death of father. [Ref: Jackman TODD G4]

Was born in Washington County, NY. He grew up and received his education there. He bagan the practice of medicine with his older brother, Dr. Martin Luther Todd, in Waynesburg, PA. He remained there until 1814 and then moved to a small community with the strange name of Ten Mile, PA. He died at the age of 27. [Ref: Jackman TODD p13]
