Lancaster County PA Wills M-371, dated 1 Mar 1808, pro 4 Mar 1820:
In the Name of God Amen. I Elizabeth Musser of the township of Leacock in
the county of Lancaster and State of Pennsylvania Widow being of sound and
disposing Mind Memory and Understanding do make and declare this my last Will
and Testament in manner following, to wit, I commend my Soul to God and my
Body I commend to the earth to be decently interred as my Executors shall
direct in Humble hope of a glorious Resurrection and an happy Admission into
the Region of immortal Bliss and Glory in and through the Merits of my
mediator and Redeemer Jesus Christ, And as to such worldly Estate wherewith
God hath blessed me I do give and dispose of the same in manner following to
wit, Imprimis it is my Will and I do order and direct that my just Debts and
Funeral expenses to be paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently may be done
after my Decease. Item I do give and bequeath unto my Kinswoman Elizabeth Rech
who lives or resides with me the sum of one hundred Pounds to be paid her as
soon as conveniently may be done after my Decease in Consideration and full
Compensation of and for her Services to me and attendance on me as well in
health as during my sickness. Item I do give and bequeath and order to be paid
as soon as conveniently may be after my deceased unto Christian Hurst or to
the Preacher for the time being of the Religious Society or Congregation of
People called Menonists in Earl township in the said County of Lancaster the
sum of Twenty Pounds to be by him distributed to and amongst the Poor of the
said Society or Congregation in such Manner as he shall think proper. Item I
do give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Elizabeth Musser the Daughter and
only Child of my son Henry Musser deceased the sum of One hundred Pounds to be
paid her when or as soon as she shall attain the age of twenty one years. And
in Case of the Death of my said Grand Daughter Elisabeth Musser before she
shall attain the said age of twenty one years without leaving any Child or
Children to survive her then I do give and bequeath the said Legacy of Sum of
one hundred Pounds unto my two Sons John Musser and Jacob Musser to be equally
divided between them or their respective legal Representatives. Item as to all
the Rest Residue and Remainder of my estate Real and Personal, which I shall
die possessed of or may be in any manner intitled unto at the time of my
Decease including also my Parts Shares or Proportions and all my Rights Title
and Interest of in and to the Estate Real and Personal or the Proceeds of the
Estate Real and Personal of my late Brother Henry Resh deceased as well of and
in such Parts thereof as are or may become due and payable or shall remain
behind and unpaid to me in my lifetime and at the time of my Decease as of and
in the part thereof which remain charged upon the Real Estate Lands and
Tenements late of my said Brother and made payable and are liable to e paid
after the Decease of Feronica the Widow and relict of the said Henry Resh
deceased I do give devise and bequeath the same unto my said Sons John Musser
and Jacob Musser Share and Share alike that is to say one equal half part
thereof I do give devise and bequeath unto my said Son John Musser his Heirs
Executors Administrators and Assigns forever, and the other equal half part
thereof I do give devise and bequeath unto my said son Jacob Musser his Heirs
Executors Administrators and Assigns forever, And Lastly I do hereby nominate
constitute and appoint my said Sons John Musser and Jacob Musser and the
Survivor of them Executors and Executor of this my last Will and Testament,
Hereby revoking all former and other Will or Wills by me made and declaring
this and no other to be and contain my last Will and Testament. In Witness
whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the first Day of March in the
year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and eight. Elizabeth (X) Musser.

Musser as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who in her
presence and at her Request have subscribed our names as Witnesses thereto.

Lancaster County SS. On the 4th day of march A.D. 1820 before me the
Subscriber personally appeared Tobias Miller and Abraham Brubaker two of the
Subscribing witnesses to the hereto annexed will who upon their affirmation
according to law did severally declare and say that they were present and saw
and heard Elisabeth Musser the Testatrix therein named sign seal publish
pronounce and declare the annexed Instrument in writing as and for her last
will and testament, And that at the time of the doing thereof she was of sound
and well disposing mind memory and understanding according to the best of
their knowledge observation and belief. Benjamin Bausman, Register.
Be it Remembered that on the 4th day of March A.D. 1820 the last will and
testament of Elizabeth Musser deceased was proved in due form of Law and
Letters testamentary thereon were granted to John Musser and Jacob Musser the
Executors therein named they having first been duly qualified according to law
well and truly to administer the estate of said deceased, and especially to
exhibit a true and perfect Inventory thereof into the Registers office at the
city of Lancaster within one month from the date hereof, and to render a just
and true account of their Executorship on said estate in one year or when
thereto lawfully required. Given under the seal of said Office, Benj Bausman,
