mentioned by Orderic Vitalis, during reign of Henry I; if they served Henry so well, their birth in spite of their father's treason, might have entitled them to some consideration, but the Norman estates, on the death of William de Breteuil, went to the descentant of their aunt, their father's sister [Ref: CP VI p450(d)]
