Research Notes:
served with the Revolutionary army. [Ref: Chamberlain TODD p34, Helm TODD p78]

Late in life he was known as Col. Andrew Todd, which led some inquirers to imagine that he was a Revolutionary colonel. He was an extensive land owner, and was appointed justice of the peace for Providence twp, Montgomery Co, May 22, 1800. He was a member of the Providence Presbyterian Church. [Ref: Helm TODD p78]
