Research Notes:
COLUMBUS-Robert B. Head, 70, formerly of Columbus, died Sunday, April 12, 1992 in Glenford. Mr. Head was a retired letter carrier for the U. S. Postal Service, was a member of Jackson Lodge 85, F & AM in Brownsville, the NALC Branch 78 and American Legion Post 888. Surviving are his wife, Helen E. Head; two sons and a daughter in law, David and Elaine Head of Whitefish, Md and Daniel Head of Glenford; two daughters and a son in law, Roberta Wilbur of Baltimore, Md and Rebecca and Melvin McComb of Glenford, and 12 grandchildren. Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Southwick-Good Funeral Home, 3100 N. High St., Columbus where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Terry R. Heck officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cememtery. [Ref: Paula Watts 4/10/2008]
