Research Notes:
Joan de Ferrers, who married William de Champernoun, was the link that brought Otterham to the Champernouns. Joan and Reginald were not the children of Isolda de Cardinham, as both were born before the death of Henry de Tracy, and neither inherited any Cardinham property [Ref: Ivor West SGM 8/6/1999]

Mar 1308/9: as Dame Joan de Champernoun, relict of Sir William, presented to the church of jacobstowe, co Cornwall [Ref: Ronny Bodine SGM 2/1/1999]

Nov 1309: presented John de Campo Arnulphi, a subdeacon and presumably her son, as the new rector [Ref: Ronny Bodine SGM 2/1/1999]
