Research Notes:
How Dorcas Ivory came to emigrate to New England is not known. She may have gone over to visit her uncles Peter and Luke Hanbury, or the family of William Ivory of Lynn (if the latter was her uncle), perhaps leaving London on account of the plague raging there in the summer of 1665. [Ref: French England1913 p330]
