Know all men by these presents that we Edson B Olds Ann Maria Olds, Andrew Huston, Thomas Huston, and Mary Huston of the County of Pickaway and State of Ohio of the first part for and in Consideration of the sum of Eight hundred dollars to us in hand paid by Anthony Bousher of the second part of the County of Pickaway and State of Ohio the Receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have given granted bargained sold aliened and conveyed and by these presents do give Grant bargain sell alien Convey and Confirm unto the said Anthony Bousher his heirs and assigns forever the following premises situate in the County of Pickaway and in the State of Ohio and in Circleville Township and bounded and described as follows, Beginning at the Lower Corner of Fractional Section Number one in Township Number Two Range No 22 (W.S) Running thence North sixty seven poles to a large blue ash thence North fifty four degrees West 26 poles to a pawpan(?) thence North 36 degrees west 50 poles to a walnut thence North 43 degrees west 4 poles to a blew Ash thence South 74 degrees West 70 poles to a Hickory fifteen inches diameter on the bank of the Scotio river thence down the same with the meanders to the beginning containing four acres more or less and being the same allotted to Anthony Bausher and Peter Harpster by Anthony Baosher (Sr) on a division of his lands marked in the plate and Survey of said denwese(?) as Scotio, To Have and to hold the said granted premises with all the appurtenances and privileges to the same Allenjens(?) unto the said Anthony Bousher his heirs and assigns forever and the said parties of the first part for themselves and heirs doth hereby Covenant with the said Anthony Bousher his heirs and assigns that they are lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid that they are free and clear from all incumbrances whatever and that they will forever Warrant and defend the same with the appurtenances unto the said Anthony Bousher his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whatsoever and they the said Ann Marie Olds and Mary Huston do hereby remiss release and forever quit claim unto the said Anthony Bousher his heirs and assigns all their right and title of dower in the above described Premises. Before me John Ludwig a Justice of the Peace in and for said County personaly appeared the above named Edson B Olds Ann Maria Olds his wife Andrew Huston Thomas Huston and Mary Huston his wife and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the above Conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed and the said Anna Maria Olds and Mary Huston being at the same time examined by me separate and apart from their said husbands and the contents of the said instrument made known to them by me they then declared that they did voluntarily sign seal and acknowledge the same and that they are still satisfied therewith. Pickaway Co OH Deeds 32-63, dated 24 Jul 1857:
To all to whom these presents Shall come Greeting. Whereas on the Seventh day of August A.D. 1856 a certain petition was filed in the Probate Court of Pickaway County Ohio praying for the Sale of Real Estate in which petition John Grace as guardian of Emanuel Bousher, Catharine Bousher, and Hatty Ann Bousher was Petitioner and his said wards defendants the said John Grace as Guardian of his said wards was ordered to sell at public auction certain real estate of said wards hereinafter described and whereas the said Guardian having duly advertised Said real estate did on the twenty ninth day of December A.D. 1856 Sell the Same at public auction to Anthony Bousher for the sum of two hundred and ninety two dollars and eighty four cents which Sale was afterwards on the twenty ninth day of December A.D. 1856 Confirmed by Said Court and said Guardian ordered to Execute and deliver a deed and fee Simple to said Anthony Bowsher for the premises so sold all of which will more fully appear reference being had to the records of said Court, And therefore I John Grace as Guardian of the aforesaid Emanuel Bowsher, Catharine Bowsher and Hetty Ann Bowsher in consideration of these presents and by virtue of the power in me vested by law do by these presents grant bargain alien and convey to the said Anthony Bowsher his heirs and assigns forever the said tenements sold as aforesaid and which are bounded and described as follows, a part of Fractional Section number two in Fractional Township number four Range twenty two Beginning at a forked mulberry lower corner on the Scioto to the line of G Ward thence with his line N 61 E 62 poles to a post thence E 22 poles to a hackberry thence S 69 W 66 poles to a Shel bark Hickory on the bank of the river thence up the river N 28 W 13 1/2 poles to the beginning containing six acres and 149 poles of land with all and singular the appurtenances to Have and to hold the said premises to him the said Anthony Bowsher and to his heirs and assigns forever. In Testimony whereof I as Guardian as aforesaid do hereunto set my hand and seal this 24th day of July 1857. John Grace Guardian.
