Research Notes:
unaware of ancestry, but her name is characteristic of princesses of the XXI dynasty, and it is therefore likely that she is related to this lineage. There do not exist any direct descendants in this period outside of some Thebaide families; but knowing the pronounced taste for pharaohs of the XXII dynasty to marry their relatives, it is likely that Istemkheb descended from Sheshonq II [Ref: Settipani LGA p164]

named on the canopic jars of their daughter [Ref: Dodson Egypt p218]
