probably too young to claim title of "chief of family" in 578 upon exile of uncle, which then passed to Moushehg, eldest of first cousins of Manouegh II and Vardan III [Ref: Settipani LGA p46]

possibly had a brother Mamak, cited four times in 596 as armenien nakharar that died in 596. More probably Mamak was grandson of Mamak, of which the sons Chmouegh, Vard, and Artavazd were in council of Dwin in 555. [Ref: Settipani LGA p46]
