1816: purchased 36 acres of land on the waters of Buffalo Creek [Ref: BlayneyCO BLAYNEY p218]

1828: bought a farm across the Ohio River, about 6 miles northwest near Bellaire, Ohio [Ref: BlayneyCO BLAYNEY p218]

c1831: (few years later) moved back across the Ohio River to Marshall County, to a farm on a ridge between South Wheeling and Elm Grove [Ref: BlayneyCO BLAYNEY p218]

c1841: (about 10 years later) traded that farm for one of the other Blayney farms in the Good Intent neighborhood [Ref: BlayneyCO BLAYNEY p218]
