Research Notes:
Captain in War of 1812 [Ref: Boss BYERS p193]

lived in Maysville, Kentucky, on what is known as "The Point" just over the Limestone Creek bridge on East Second Street. He was in business in maysville for many years, having warehouses for storage of hemp, tobacco, cordage, spun yarn, saltpetre and gun powder. [Ref: Boss BYERS p194]

moved to Missouri after his children were grown; later returned to Maysville, Kentucky [Ref: Boss BYERS p194]
