came to Wheeling in early girlhood, educated in the Wheeling Female College, graduated 1868, accepted position as teacher in Washington District, advanced to Assistant Principal in 1870; resigned to become Mrs. Sylvester L. Brice. Member of the St. Matthews Protestant Episcopal Church, also of the Woman's Auxiliary Society and Editor of the Parish Record, a monthly journal devoted to the interests of the Prestestant Episcopal Church.
