1759: part of a military expedition to Nova Scotia [Ref: Stan Johnson 5/31/1999]

1761: settled in Granville [Ref: Calnek NovaScotia p199]

9 Oct 1764: deed dated, and acknowledged at Annapolis Royall, William Marshall, "of a place called Granville in the Province of Nova Scotia" sold his property at Dedham, Mass, to Joseph Kingsbury; his wife, Lydia, by her mark, gave up her right of dower. The deed was recorded at Boston in 1765. [Ref: Doug Chase 2/28/2000]
