Research Notes:
merchant in Madison, Indiana, in 1824, and afterward became a farmer. Aftr the civil war be moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was five feet,, eleven inches in height, of commanding appearance, and dignified, courteous and affable in manner. [Ref: Helm TODD p269]
