1260: settled his lands in Foxton and Buskley, together with the reversion of Easby and Tanton, upon his son William and agreed not to alienate any of them in his lifetime [Ref: Moriarty Kirklington p171]

however, he did alienate Tanton to Nicholas de Meinill, which thereafter remained in the Meinill fee [Ref: Moriarty Kirklington p171]
