Research Notes:
John MacLean, in his Memoir of the Family of Poyntz, says that the first Hugh [1st Lord Poyntz] was married to Margaret, daughter of Sir William Paveley, and that the second Hugh [3rd Lord Poyntz] was married to Margaret, daughter of Sir Walter Paynel of Brook, Wiltshire.
