Research Notes:
Prof Charles Jacobs of Bridgeport, Connecticut, has tentatively run several of the lines back for many generations and found that, in addition to a distinguished Welsh ancestry, Rose Trevor had a descent from King John, through an illegitimate daughter, and descents from the English families of Braose, Clare, Audley, Meschnes and FitzWarren [Ref: Davis ISAAC p335 footnote]
