inherited Barony of Thoresway from father [Ref: Sanders Baronies p88]

youngest of two daughters, but seems to have inherited the entire Barony [Ref: Sanders Baronies p88(12)]

lost control of the estate in late 1200's; Negotiations began for the division of the lands of Stephen de Bayeux in 1288-92; in 1294 the barony was in the king's hands, and in 1303 it was said that the crown controlled the estate because Elias's heir was a minor [Ref: Sanders Baronies p89]

in 1308 the Barony was granted to Amery de Friscobaldi, and in 1312 the barony was given to Isabel de Vescy (sister of Henry de Beaumont, who was related to King Edward II) [Ref: Sanders Baronies p89]
