Research Notes:
The Book of Leinster has a curious tale of a Pincess of Connacht who had a vision in which she became Murchad's wife; this was apparently accepted as a legally binding marriage. "And therefore the high-king of Lagin, Murchad, took her by law from the kings of the other provinces who were asking her in marriage" [Ref: Kelley Eve p13]
