Research Notes:
I am fairly sure that Erneburga was a Constable as Sir Robert and Erneburga de Roos received their interest in Gedney, co. Lincoln, by conveyence from a member of the Constable family, who in turn was a descendant and one of the co-heirs of an earlier individual named Fulk d'Oyry. This is set out in the Plea Rolls. If so, then I imagine that Gedney was Erneburga's maritagium and that she likewise descends from Fulk d'Oyry of Gedney. [Ref: Douglas Richardson SGM 2/7/1999-A]

...[possibly] daughter of Simon Constable, of Halsham, Yorkshire, who conveyed his one-third interest in Gedney, co. Lincoln as one of the d'Oyry co-heirs to Robert and Erneburga, probably as Erneburga's maritagium. [Ref: Douglas Richardson SGM 2/7/1999-B]
