Research Notes:
killed on the "cutoff" on the Pennsylvania Railroad, at the Novelty Works, near Lancaster. He was on his way homeward after delivering a four-horse load of wheat at Levan's mill, south of Lancaster; also two of his horses were killed [Ref: LancasterCoPA Biog p454]
