baptised when 9 weeks old by Rev. Daniel Schumacher. Sponsors were Johannes Kuntz and Magdalena Wirth [Ref: Harter REICHELDERFER p34, John Hendricks 12/14/1995]

Daniel Schumacher baptized Simon Peter Siedler on 17 Feb 1762, and this entry immediately follows the entry for a Reicheldsoerffer baptism. The sponsors of the Reichelsdoerfer baptism were Johannes Kuntz and Magdalena Wirth. The same sponsors appear in a record of Rev Mischler dated 6 May 1771, regarding Maria Magdalena (born 1761). As the Reichelderfers were Lutherans and baptized infants, it is possible that the 1771 record is a confirmation and not a baptism. The fraktur containing information about Maria Magdalena was made c1800, long after the events. [WTM: I've followed the possiblity that Rev Daniel Schumacher's record incorrectly named the infant as "Simon Peter" (of the adjacent entry) where it should have been "Maria Magdalena". If this is correct, there was no son Simon Peter] [Ref: Earnest Fraktur]
