Research Notes:
1372: manors of Chilton Candover and Daundeleswyk were settled on Nicholas de Baynton and Joan his wife in fee tail with a remainder to therightheirs of Joan incase they failed to have surviving issue; it seems certain that Joan was the heiress of the Daundeley family, possibly the daughter or sister of Philip Daundeley [Ref: Davis WILDES p206]
