1351: alleged that he, while under age, had enfeoffed his brothers Thomas and Robert (also under age) of his manor of Ford, with the intention of evading the feudal services; Thomas and Robert were recorded as lords of Ford in 1356, and in 1358 were ordered to attorn to John de Coupland, probably because they had then attained their majority [Ref: CP++ Heron 2/11/2003 (CP VI p486(m))]
