King of the Britons of Strathclyde at the time of the collection of Welsh
genealogies which were later copied in Harl. 3859 [Ref: Kelley Strathclyde
p85]
Strathclyde was an Early British Kingdom in south-western Scotland,
founded in the 6th century AD. On the extinction of its ruling dynasty
in the 10th century, various members of the Scottish royal family ruled under
the suzerainty of the Scottish kings until the final absorption of Strathclyde
into the national state in the 11th century. Very little is known of its
history, and a full list of the kings and their dates is not available. [Ref:
