Research Notes:
Mar 13 1745/6: purchased 75 acres of land on Conestoga Creek. This land had been surveyed on 27 Sep 1717 for Jacob Landis and Ulrich Hawry as a tract of 150 acres in what is now West Lampeter, lancaster Co, PA. The 150 acres was divided, with Ulrich being owner of the 75 acres bordering the Conestoga. Ulrich died and his widow Barbara married John Stanfer, and the land was patented to him 21 May 1728. John Stanfer died and named wife Barbara executrix; Barbara sold to Johannes Wanner, and recorded in book D-410 [Ref: Stoltzfus WANNER p9]

1780: living in Lampeter Twp, Lancaster Co, PA [Ref: Stoltzfus WANNER p20]

1782: paid 12 pounds taxes on 75 acres of land in Lancaster County [Ref: Stoltzfus WANNER p20]

will dated 18 Aug 1795, proved 22 Mar 1798. Executors were sons Tobias and Johannes Jr. Will recorded in Lancaster Co Will Book G-196 [Ref: Stoltzfus WANNER p11]
