1086: Domesday tenant in chief in Northamptonshire; associated with a forest
serjeantry that had been held before 1066 by AElfwine Venator, "the Huntsman".
The forestership was principally associated with Richard's fief, known as that
of Engaine of Abington [Ref: Keats-Rohan DP p366]
witnessing charters up till abt 1110 [Ref: Keats-Rohan DP p366]
heir in 1166 was his grandson Fulk de Lisores, whose Carta reveals that
Richard was married more than once and that he had given land to the husbands
