Research Notes:
a physician, and practiced his profession in Fayette Co, KY. He served as a surgeon with the Kentucky troops in the War of 1812, and was in the battle at the River Raisin. He was noted for his piety, purity, and gentleness. Late in life he lived with his sons at Owensboro, Kentucky. [Ref: Helm TODD p255]
