Research Notes:
Rev. Stuart, a Presbyterian missionary, who went to Kentucky from Virginia soon after being graduated at Liberty Hall, now Washington and Lee University. He became a professor in Transylvania University, and was pastor at Walnut Hills and Salem. He lived on a farm, near Lexington, until the death of his wife, but died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Price. [Ref: Helm TODD p257]
