From him the rulers of northern Leinster were known as Ui Dunlainge [Ref: Kelley Eve p9]

ancestor of the sept of Ui Dunlainge, which monopolized the kingshop of Laigin (Leinster) from the 7th throuth the early 11th centuries. [Ref: Stewart Baldwin SGM 11/26/1998]
