will dated Nov 19 1764, proved Jan 5 1765, left money to granddaughters Martha Simmonds and Mary Clarke, and grandson Humphrey Clarke; directed that his daughter-in-law Joanna Clarke should live in the house which stood before the house in which he was then living as long as she remained the widow of his son Elijah, and left the residue of his estate to his son Daniel [Ref: Davis WILDES p72]
