1736 bought land near "Wadchesett Hill" of Jonathan Gates. This was one of the grants to Narragansett soldiers (Worcester Co Deeds, v7p425) and thus he became the first actual settler of Narragansett No. 2, now Westminster [Ref: Bolton MOORE v57p308]
