Research Notes:
one of first settlers at Rutland, MA. He was there when the first town meeting was held in 1722, and he was elected a sealer of leather. [Ref: DeForest MOORE p337]

He settled in that part of Rutland which became Paxton, where with Ephraim MOORE and Nathan GOODNOW he bought two hundred fifty acres. [Ref: Bolton MOORE v57p307, DeForest MOORE p337]

setted on part of the Privince Farm, which was granted to John Burrell of Lynn. The division of this farm is in Worcester Co Deeds v21p163. [Ref: Bolton MOORE v57p307]
