Deceased Name: Wade R. Shenk Wade R. Shenk, 60, of Blandon, died Friday morning, February 16, 2007 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.He was the husband of Lynda L. (Grim) Shenk. Born November 6, 1946 in Perry Township, he was the son of the late Irene Shenk Hinnershitz and Wade Armentrout. Wade worked for Windsor Service, Reading, for 20 years, last working at Krapfs Coaches Inc., Reading, from 2000 to 2005.
Survivors: He is survived by his wife; daughter, Wendy A. (Shenk), wife of William Milyo, of Blandon; three sons, Christopher L., husband of Tracy A. (Brown) Shenk, of Leesport, Roger A., husband of Christina (Yaroslosky) Shenk, of Leesport; predeceased son, Chad A. Shenk, who died Jan. 2, 1989; six grandchildren; four brothers, Gary R. Shenk of Mohrsville, Jeffrey L. Hinnershitz of Preston, Md., Bruce Hinnershitz and Brian Hinnershitz, both of Hurlock, Md; three sisters, Gloria G. (Kauffman) Noll of Auburn, Janine L. (Hinnershitz) Masternardi of Preston, Md. And Michelle (Hinnershitz) Meyers of Preston, Md.; stepsister, Shannon (Armentrout) Walker of Indianapolis, Indiana.He was predeceased by a brother, Gerald Kauffman, in 1968.
Services: are Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 117 W. Main Street, Fleetwood. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. Viewing time for friends and family is Monday evening 7-9 p.m.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions made to the John & Dorothy Morgan Cancer Center, 1240 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown, PA 18103.
