Research Notes:
lived in Hadley, MA until 1690, when he moved to Milton. [Ref: Perley HOVEY p31]

administration of estate granted to his brother John Hovey of Topsfield, Jun 9 1693. The inventory of his estate amounted to 11 pounds 12 shillings 8 pence, being all personal. Of this amount, 1 pound 4 shillings was of "things prized at Ipswich" The estate was declared insolvent, and Thomas Holman and Nathaniel Pitcher, both of Milton, were appointed commissioners to examine claims [Ref: Perley HOVEY p31]
