Research Notes:
Received of Elliz Barron (step-father of his wife) L20, on Apr 1 1673, the share of his wife in the estate of her father, T. HAWKINS. This was probably near the date of their marriage [Ref: Bond Watertown GARFIELD p772]

representative 9 times between 1689 and 1717, and he held numerous municipal appointments [Ref: Bond Watertown GARFIELD 17]

His house and barn were burnt in the night of Mar 29, 1682, by his negro servant, Joshua, and on Apr 24, Joshua was discovered with his throat cut, with a knife in his hand. In 1704 his fence was burnt by Christopher Tompson, who was ordered to be sold into neighboring colonies. [Ref: Bond Watertown GARFIELD 17]

Sold to his son Benoni, Mar 2 1719-20, a house and 12 acres; also three other lots of 130 acres, 3 acres, and 20 acres. [Ref: Bond Watertown GARFIELD p772]
