founder of Salamine dynasty [Ref: Settipani LGA p117]

genealogy is not easy to find. The filiation date was from the fifth century Pherecyde, and others by Marcellinos, but the text is very corrupted [Ref: Settipani LGA p112]

Philaias, son of Aias (Ajax) installs has Athens and generates Daiklos. Of him Epidykos, of him Akestor, of him Agenor, of him Olios, of him Lykes, of him Tophon, of him Laios, of him Agamestor, of him Tisandros archonte of Athens, of him Miltiades, of him Hippokleodes, archonte of Athens at the time of Panathenees, of him Miltiades of Cherronses. But, know by Herodote, that Hippokleides was the son of Tisandros, and that Miltiades of Chersonese was the son of Kypselos. [Ref: Settipani LGA p113]

proposed corrected text reads: Philaios, son of Aias installs himself Athens and generates Daiklos. Of him, Epilykos, of him Akestor, of him Agenor, of him Oulios, of him Polykles, of him Iophon, of him Philaios, of him Agamestor, of him Miltiades archonte of Athens, of him Teisandros, of him Kypselos and Teisandros, of this one Hippolkeides, archonte of Athens at the time of Panathenees. Oh Kypselos, Miltiades of Cherronses [Ref: Settipani LGA p116]
