came to the farm in West Finley Township when a young man [Ref: BlayneyCO BLAYNEY p131]

when first started out for himself, his uncle gave him a colt. this was the beginning from which by industry, perseverance, and thrift, he has achieved the fine success that has brought him competance for his declining years. [Ref: BlayneyCO BLAYNEY p131]
