Research Notes:
He had been an Extension director in Osceola for several years, managed several farms throughout Iowa, and had been a coach and schoolteacher previous to that. He was a member of Delta Sigma Phi at Iowa State, graduating in 1923. He was also a member of the Iowa State alumni association and charter President of the Osceola Rotary Club [Ref: Sean Coleman 9/1/2001]

died in car accident, with wife, while returning from a Rotary Club function [Ref: Sean Coleman 9/1/2001]
