The will of James Barker of Rowley in New England ... born in Strangewell in Low Suffolk in Old England ... weak of body ... to my belobved wife Mary I give the things she brought with her when I married her & the use of the room we live in, with firewood ready cut for the fire from time to time, her rent at Ipswich & twenty shillings yearly for life, to be paid by my son Burzillai in work or as she shall see need to call for it, not money, & if any agreement appear of our Contract at marriage, that is be fulfilled equally by my executors ...
