Research Notes:
1885: won the Ohio prize for best architectural drawing by any High School pupil in the state [Ref: Kingsbury MARSHALL p70]

gratuated with high rank from the Iowa State college of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts [Ref: Kingsbury MARSHALL p70]

worked in office of great Chicago architects, Burnham & Root [Ref: Kingsbury MARSHALL p70]

after close of World's Fair, went to Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and took honors representing his class in architecutre on the commencement stage at graduation [Ref: Kingsbury MARSHALL p70]

Oct 1 1898: went to Europe under an honorary foreign fellowship from the Institute, to spend a year or two in higher study in art and architecture. Died after approx 7 months abroad [Ref: Kingsbury MARSHALL p70]
